Job summary

MaineHousing is seeking a Data Analyst to manage data for its programs, collect, analyze, and present housing data on needs, conditions, and trends in Maine, and support internal and external data requests.

The role develops and maintains dashboards and maps, promotes data governance, and collaborates with departments to measure performance and program impact using Tableau, SQL, and GIS tools.

Qualifications

• Education in data science, statistics, economics, or related field.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations with Tableau or similar tools.
• Familiarity with GIS and mapping applications is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote interdepartmental data literacy and governance.
• Develop and maintain data collection and data quality processes.
• Create at-a-glance views of KPI for programs and agency objectives.
• Respond to data requests from state agencies, researchers, and the public.
• Support grant applications with curated data and analyses.
