Women In Need (Win) is seeking a Housing Services Coordinator to support families in shelter by coordinating housing services for successful placements in line with WIN and contract requirements.
You will build partnerships with brokers/landlords, guide subsidy applications, arrange viewings, and coordinate housing fairs and workshops, while collaborating with Case Managers on permanent housing strategies. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
The Housing Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the permanent housing search of the families living in the shelter by coordinating all housing services activities which will lead to the successful placement of families in accordance with WIN’s and other agency contractual requirements
You will bring a bachelor’s degree (preferred) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with 4+ years of directly related experience
You will possess deep knowledge of the New York City housing market, including housing subsidies and supportive housing programs
You will demonstrate a proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with brokers, landlords, and housing stakeholders
You will exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with sound judgment and a consistently professional demeanor
You will be flexible and willing to travel to potential housing sites as needed
You will have bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
