Job summary

Community Horizons in Wisconsin is seeking a Housing Navigator to help individuals and families find safe, affordable housing and maintain independence. You will build relationships with landlords and housing partners, guide clients through applications, and provide comprehensive housing support across Portage and Wood counties and surrounding areas.

Travel to members' homes is required; the schedule is Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

  • Experience in housing, social services, case management, or community resource coordination.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs such as Section 8, WHEDA, HUD, Rural Development, or similar programs.
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Central Wisconsin.

  • Stay informed about affordable housing resources, rental market trends, and local housing programs.

Location Covering: Portage County, Wood County, and surrounding areas. Travel required to members' homes. Work Schedule Monday-Friday.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, and enjoys helping others navigate complex systems.
