Job summary

The Housing Authority of the City of Corpus Christi is seeking a Supervisor for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. You will supervise Housing Specialists and a Clerk, conduct interviews to determine eligibility and manage waiting lists and vouchers.

Responsibilities include ensuring annual recertifications, processing terminations, and maintaining SEMAP compliance while coordinating with the Sr. Vice President. A valid Texas driver’s license and a related degree are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Public Administration or related field with experience.
• Must complete Section 8 training within 9 months of hire.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housing Specialists and Clerk to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Develop methods, deadlines, priorities and assignments for staff.
• Ensure timely annual recertifications and initial move-ins.
• Process terminations per program regulations and policy.
• Oversee submission of HUD 50058 reports.
