Description

New Hope Ministries, Inc., a premier Christian social service agency, is seeking a northern tier housing and homeless program manager to serve guests in northern York and Cumberland Counties. The ideal applicant will possess a bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent work experience. Prior experience working with homeless populations is necessary with prior experience using the state HMIS system. Extensive case management experience, ability to navigate complex funding streams and requirements, and problem-solving skills are an absolute must.

Requirements

• Serve as an agency expert on housing and homeless assistance needs
• Familiar with and know how to use client record systems including state HMIS database
• Ability to work with a diverse population across agency programming to assist guests with reaching stability
• Experience managing a fiscal budget
• Must be able to work with community partners including development of landlord/tenant relationships to facilitate guests applications for public and private homeless assistance programs.
