Job summary

The City of Topeka's Housing Services Division seeks an Equity Access Shelter Program Coordinator to manage Coordinated Entry with the CoC, partner agencies, and consumers, ensuring access to housing services and entry into HMIS. The coordinator oversees the single point of access, coordinates services, and attends community meetings to report on the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Without a bachelor’s, a high school diploma plus 3+ years in social work/human services.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license and insurability per City requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entry through CoC and HMIS with partners.
• Serve as Coordinated Entry Liaison to assist individuals seeking housing.
• Oversee the CoC's single point of access site.
• Follow up to ensure access to additional services after housing.
