Our 439-room Midtown high-rise hotel is closest to the United Nations and half a mile from Grand Central Station. We are within one mile of Bryant Park, The Morgan Library, and Rockefeller Center. Enjoy unobstructed views of Manhattan and the East River skylines. Our historic Ambassador Grill and iconic lobby are both designated New York City Interior Landmarks.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a hotel houseperson in a similar-sized property and must be available full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Pattern:

Full availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range:

$29.15 - $38.87 per hour

Responsibilities:

As a Houseperson, your primary duties will include cleaning and maintaining designated hotel areas and responding to guest requests. Specific tasks include:

• Cleaning restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, carpet shampooing, window washing, floor waxing, trash disposal, and ashtray emptying
• Greeting guests courteously
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Stocking and maintaining supply rooms
• Performing deep cleaning and special projects as needed, such as mattress flipping and furniture moves
• Assisting with guest requests and cleaning guest rooms as required
