Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a guest-focused houseperson to keep public areas pristine and assist with guest requests. You will deliver items to rooms, restock linens, and help maintain lobby and hallways with a proactive, service-driven approach.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of housekeeping experience and a strong work ethic. PT AM/PM shifts with weekend availability are included at this Eau Claire property.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas: hallways, meeting rooms, lobbies.
• Deliver guest-requested items to rooms (amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding).
• Restock linen on each floor and transport clean linens to storage facilities.
• Walk assigned floors at shift start; collect trash and soiled linens as directed.
• Provide proactive, attentive service by listening and responding to guests’ needs.

Job description

We're looking for a houseperson with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable experience at our hotel. We need a multi-talented individual who can perform a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include keeping the hotel's public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. You will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers.

Our ideal candidate has one or more years of previous experience in a houseperson or housekeeping role, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

We have PT openings for AM and PM shifts. Weekend availability.

Compensation:

$16 hourly

Qualifications

• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)

Responsibilities

• Additionally duties supporting laundry services
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens
• Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests
• Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other work areas
