Job summary

Hollywood Casino Columbus is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping team member to maintain cleanliness and deliver exceptional service throughout the facility. Responsibilities include delivering linens and cleaning guest corridors, as well as responding to guest requests with a professional demeanor.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Delivers linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest floors and replenishes linen closets throughout the shift to support housekeeping operations.
• Collects soiled linens, used terry, trash, and recycling from guest floors and transports items to designated laundry or disposal areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest corridors, service hallways, elevator landings, stairwells, vending and ice rooms, and other assigned public or service areas.
• Vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops floors, spot cleans walls and surfaces, and removes debris to maintain a clean, polished environment.
• Cleans and maintains back‑of‑house areas including storage rooms, service closets, and staff workspaces.
• Supports room readiness during high occupancy by delivering supplies and assisting with room completion.
• Responds promptly and professionally to guest requests such as linens, pillows, cribs, amenities, packages, or special deliveries.
• Greets guests courteously and offers assistance in alignment with Four‑Diamond service expectations.
• Maintains organized, stocked, clean, and secure housekeeping closets and reports supply or inventory needs.
• Responds quickly to spills, urgent cleaning needs, and safety hazards to ensure guest and team member safety.
• Reports maintenance issues, safety concerns, unusual activity, or incidents promptly and completes work‑order documentation accurately.
• Follows all safety, OSHA, PPE, chemical‑handling, key‑control, confidentiality, and emergency procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and behavior.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures established.
• Assists with deep‑cleaning projects, seasonal tasks, emergency support, and additional job‑related duties as assigned.
