Job summary

Coury Hospitality in Westlake, TX is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team. You will maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and guest rooms, and ensure linens and supplies are delivered to carts and rooms.

You will interact with guests courteously, respond to requests for extra towels or amenities, and report any maintenance issues. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Aptitude for guest services and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and public areas.
• Ensure carpets are vacuumed, floors are mopped, and furniture is dusted.
• Deliver linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
• Collect used linens and transport them to the laundry area.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Respond to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, or other amenities.
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Refill housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Keep supply rooms clean and organized.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints, seeking assistance from leadership when necessary.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

Physical Demands:
