Hilton, the leading global hospitality company, is seeking a Houseman/Room Attendant to work in the Raleigh, NC 27612 location. This role focuses on maintaining guest satisfaction through thorough housekeeping of rooms and public spaces following Hilton, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Health Department standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Seek opportunities to exceed guest and team member expectations.
• Maintain safety and security at all times – secure guest suites, ensure fire safety, and safeguard laundry chutes, storage rooms, and stair wells.
• Handle cleansers, bleaches, and detergents safely, following MSDS guidelines.
• Adhere to all Health Department standards for room and suite cleanliness, including sanitizer use, glassware handling, refrigerator and microwave operations, and linen care.
• Complete all essential training within 7 days of hire, with additional orientation within 30 days.
• Consistently clean assigned rooms and suites to Hilton QA standards, ensuring they are attractive, neat, and extremely clean; present guest supplies in correct quantities and locations.
• Follow hotel procedures for daily operating supplies, linens, and amenities.
• Maintain shelf organization and replenish supplies in storerooms.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms and suites.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Report maintenance issues or complete work repair orders.
• Spot‑clean walls, carpets, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Sort, launder, fold, and store hotel linens in the laundry area.
• Perform deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
• Wear hotel-issued uniforms only during hotel shifts and maintain them in good condition with proper laundering and care; non‑slip shoes are required for safety.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate as part of a larger housekeeping department, reflecting the hotel’s brand and standards.
• Present a professional and properly uniformed appearance; meet department guidelines for attendance and punctuality.
• Demonstrate personal integrity and uphold security and safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in hotel areas outside typical work zones during the scheduled shift, as the hotel operates 24/7.
