Job summary

Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU is seeking an experienced Evening Houseperson to maintain spotless public spaces and support guest satisfaction during the night shift.

As part of Quorum Hospitality, you will clean, restock, inspect spaces, and interact with guests with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairs, and fitness centers.
• Remove trash and debris from public spaces, empty trash receptacles, and ensure areas are spotless.
• Replenish supplies and prepare cleaning carts with the necessary tools.
• Inspect furniture and equipment for damage and report issues.
• Safeguard keys and maintain guest privacy.
• Greet guests and address questions professionally.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a secure environment.
• Support other housekeeping tasks and prepare spaces for next guest.
• Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a dedicated Full-Time Evening Houseperson to join our evening shift, ensuring our public spaces remain clean, comfortable, and inviting throughout the night.

Your Role

As a Evening Houseperson, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Clean and sanitize public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and fitness centers using proper tools and chemicals. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and polishing.
• Remove trash and debris from public spaces, empty trash receptacles, and ensure areas are spotless and inviting.
• Replenish supplies and prepare cleaning carts with the necessary tools and products to complete assignments efficiently.
• Inspect furniture and equipment for damage such as rips, tears, or stains and report issues promptly for maintenance or repair.
• Keep spaces safe and secure by safeguarding assigned keys, ensuring sensitive areas are handled with care, and maintaining guest privacy.
• Greet and interact with guests, addressing questions and requests professionally and courteously to enhance their experience.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Support other housekeeping tasks or special projects such as delivering items to guestrooms, assisting with room cleaning, and preparing spaces for the next guest with attention to detail.
• Other duties as assigned.
