Job summary

Newport Hospitality in Collegeville, PA is seeking an Evening Houseperson/Driver to keep lobbies and public spaces clean, support housekeeping, and shuttle guests within a 3–5 mile radius. The role blends physical work with guest service; a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40–60 lb, and a flexible 24/7 schedule are required.

Shifts are typically 4pm–12am on weekdays and 6pm–2am on some Friday/Saturday nights.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no major violations in the last 5 years.

• Flexible schedule; 24/7 hotel operations.
• Previous houseperson or shuttle experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other public areas, emptying trash.
• Assisting housekeeping staff with laundry and room cleaning.
• Completing inventory of supplies and breaking down deliveries.
• Responding to guest requests promptly.
• Set up, break down and refresh meeting rooms per BEOs.
• Reliable and safe transportation for our guests to and from within a 3-5 mile radius along with necessary orders.

Job description

The primary responsibilities of Evening Houseperson/Driver is maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, supporting the housekeeping team, setting up/breaking down meeting space and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The role combines physical labor, attention to detail, and guest interaction. This position also will also support our guests and hotel with driving our 14 passenger shuttle daily within a 3-5 mile radius.

**Please note that public transportation (SEPTA) does not service our property on weekends/specific hours. Other means of transportation will be required for this position when scheduled those days.**

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time (32-40 Hours/week- 4/5 days)
• Scheduled Hours: Shifts will vary 4pm-12am weekdays and 6pm to 2am most Friday and Saturday nights when contracted wedding shuttles/after parties
• Pay Rate:$17-$19 per hour
• Requirements:Valid driver's license with no major violations within the last 5 years.
