Job summary

Newport Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, assist room attendants, and uphold brand standards in our hotel. This role blends physical tasks with guest interaction.

A successful candidate can lift up to 50 pounds, works a flexible 24/7 schedule, and supports a welcoming, well-presented environment for guests and staff alike. We offer benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, 401K, DailyPay and team hotel rates.

Qualifications

• Lifts up to 35–50 pounds and handles physical tasks.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and time management.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule.

• Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways and other public areas.
• Assist housekeeping staff with laundry and room cleaning.
• Empty trash and respond to guest requests promptly.
