Job summary

FivePine Lodge is hiring a part-time Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in Sisters, Oregon. You will respond to guest requests, assist with supplies and room needs, and help maintain a welcoming environment for guests.

We seek a dependable, hardworking team member who is eager to learn and can work weekends. No experience is required, and there are perks including discounted spa services and lodging rates.

Qualifications

• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and efficient environment and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Take direction from managers and supervisors regarding current needs.
• Maintain a clean laundry room and replenish bins/carts for next day service.
• Clean kitchen and bathrooms daily; make room deliveries upon request.
• Deliver linens and supplies to housekeeping teams as needed; restock pool towels seasonally.

Summary of Position:

The Houseperson is an important support member of the Housekeeping team, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. This position responds promptly and professionally to requests from guests, coworkers, supervisors, and the Front Desk, while assisting with supplies, room needs, and other housekeeping tasks.

The Houseperson also helps relay messages and information between departments, housekeepers, and supervisors. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, hardworking, and a strong team player. Housepersons should be willing to assist with full housekeeping duties when needed and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our guests.

What you'll do:

• Take pride in maintaining a clean and efficient environment and job well done
• Take daily direction from managers/supervisors regarding current needs and assignments
• Maintain a clean and neat laundry room
• Replenishes bins/carts for following days’ service
• Clean the kitchen & bathroom of the housekeeping building daily
• Make room deliveries upon request
• Deliver linens/supplies to housekeeping teams as needed
• Strip, stock and make beds to support housekeeping teams as needed
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Maintain cleanliness of lodge lobby and other public spaces
• Follow company procedure for ensuring vacancy & entering rooms
• Answer the laundry phone and relay messages from the front desk and between employees
• Restocking pool towels (seasonally)
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands of this position

• Standing and/or walking for up to 8 hours
• Extensive walking, bending, twisting, reaching and/or kneeling
• Lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying supplies up to 50lbs
