Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Houseperson to deliver superior guest service and uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hotel tower. This on-site role requires effective communication with guests and team members, plus the ability to clean and replenish supplies across floors.

The Houseperson will move between floors, applying housekeeping practices and following established procedures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with guests and staff.
• Ability to clean and replenish supplies.
• Basic English proficiency and directions comprehension.

Responsibilities

The Houseperson is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining Ameristar’s standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel tower, as directed.

• This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying noise levels, the severity of which depends upon work volume.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests as well as all levels of employees.
• Ability to clean and replenish soft and hard supplies.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move from floor to floor as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate in English and understands directions.
