Job summary

Courtyard Seattle SeaTac Airport is seeking a dependable Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. This hands-on role supports Room Attendants, maintains guest and public areas, keeps linens stocked, and responds to guest requests to help create a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and work a flexible evening schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or similar experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hallways, public areas, restrooms, service areas, and other assigned spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and clean floors, carpets, furniture, walls, and other surfaces
• Collect and remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and service areas
• Stock housekeeping closets and floor pantries with clean linens and necessary supplies
• Maintain and replenish housekeeping carts
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots, linens, and other requested items to guest rooms
• Assist Room Attendants and perform room-cleaning duties when needed
• Move furniture and mattresses as necessary for cleaning
• Walk assigned floors throughout the shift to keep hallways and service areas clean and organized
• Report lost and found items, damages, maintenance concerns, or other issues to Housekeeping leadership
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner
• Work independently while supporting the overall Housekeeping TEAM

About the Role

As aHouseperson, you'll be an essential part of our Housekeeping TEAM, helping create the clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment our guests expect.

Pay: $20.74 per hour

What You'll Do
