Job summary

Hyatt Place Phoenix Downtown, operated by Pacific Hospitality Group, is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support guest room cleanliness and public areas. You will assist Room Attendants by delivering and removing linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, helping maintain the hotel's consistently welcoming environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Room Attendants by delivering and removing linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, elevators, lobbies, restrooms, and service areas.
• Collect, sort, and distribute soiled and fresh linens to appropriate locations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and support other departments as needed.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and storage areas to ensure proper function and safety.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest floors and service closets regularly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.
• Support deep cleaning projects, furniture moves, and special housekeeping assignments.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies to maintain a secure and efficient workplace.
