Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Houseperson to join The Sheraton Nashua team in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role supports daily operations to keep the property organized, clean, and up to company standards, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining floors and restrooms, handling linens, and assisting with building operations. Flexible schedules and campus-wide development opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience or diploma required.
• At least one year of working in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs, rollaways, and additional items as requested.

More about you

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
