Job summary

Sheraton Nashua is hiring full-time Housekeepers in Nashua, NH to maintain cleanliness and guest experiences. The role includes cleaning public areas and rooms, restocking supplies, and assisting guests as needed. Regular shifts run 8:30 am–4:30 pm, Friday through Sunday required. Weekly pay and benefits are offered by Delaware North Gaming.

No diploma required; 18+ and basic math skills are sufficient to apply. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 8:30 am–4:30 pm; Friday–Sunday shifts are mandatory.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuums, tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms and restrooms; empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area; replenish supplies.
• Conduct a walk-around of assigned areas to ensure housekeeping standards; keep linen rooms and work areas neat, clean and organized.
• Interact with and assist guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
• Report maintenance and repair problems to the supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.

• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
