Niktor LLC now seeks a reliable Houseperson to help maintain a clean, organized hotel environment in Matthews, NC. The role supports housekeeping, assists guests, and ensures lobby and common areas stay clean and well-stocked.

The position offers a morning shift, about 6 hours per day, with a roughly 20–29 hour work week and a pay rate of $17.76 per hour. Ideal candidates are dependable, have a positive attitude, and are able to work in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry luggage, linens, trash, and housekeeping supplies.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Store and retrieve guest luggage and packages as needed.
• Clean and maintain hallways, stairwells, service areas, and ice rooms.
• Collect trash from designated outdoor receptacles and keep parking lots, pool areas, and common grounds free of litter.
• Collect trash and soiled linens from housekeepers and deliver them to the laundry room.
• Restock guest floor linen closets and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts.
• Monitor public-area furniture and report any damage or maintenance concerns to management.
• Keep front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide courteous assistance.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and assigned checklists.
• Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with the housekeeping team.
