Raines Co. is seeking a diligent Houseperson to maintain cleanliness across hotel common areas and support room attendants as needed. The role emphasizes guest-ready spaces, safety, and timely upkeep in lobby, corridors, fitness areas, and meeting spaces.

Ideal candidates will have prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or commercial setting, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Raines offers a benefits package and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience housekeeping, janitorial, or similar in a hotel or commercial environment.
• Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to requests.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in common areas.
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel such as lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, offices, bathrooms, meeting spaces and restaurant spaces.
• Assist room attendants as needed, stripping rooms, bringing supplies, taking out garbage.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Empty trash containers.
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Restock cleaning cart and supplies.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Attend meetings as required.

Essential Job Functions

• Greeting guests and responding to requests
