Job summary

Raines Co. in Little Rock is seeking a Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel's common areas, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for guests and colleagues. The role emphasizes attention to detail and adherence to health and safety standards.

You will clean lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, offices, bathrooms, meeting spaces and restaurant areas, assist room attendants, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs to keep our properties inviting and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience housekeeping, janitorial, or similar in a hotel or commercial environment.
• Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and responding to requests
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in common areas
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas of the hotel such as lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, offices, bathrooms, meeting spaces and restaurant spaces
• Assisting room attendants as needed, stripping rooms, bringing supplies, taking out garbage
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Vacuuming carpets
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Emptying trash containers
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Restocking cleaning cart and/or supplies
• Follow all health and safety rules
• Attends meetings as required
