Job summary

Downtowner Boutique Hotel is seeking a Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas for guests. You will support the housekeeping team and ensure a clean, safe environment throughout the property.

Key duties include cleaning floors and restrooms, restocking supplies, handling trash, assisting guests, and collaborating with maintenance. This is an on-site full-time role at our Las Vegas location.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Ability to work well in a team and support housekeeping operations.
• Strong guest-service mindset and willingness to assist guests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of common areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed to maintain operations.
• Collect and dispose of trash from common areas while following recycling procedures.
• Assist guests by answering questions and directing them appropriately.
• Follow safety and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of common areas throughout the property. This role supports the housekeeping team and helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.
• Supplies Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash from common areas and ensure proper recycling procedures are followed.
• Guest Assistance: Provide assistance to guests by answering questions and directing them as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to support efficient operations.
• Miscellaneous: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
