Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett is seeking a Houseperson to support general hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout the property and assisting team members. This full-time position requires a variable schedule and availability on weekends and holidays, with a pay rate of $20.77 per hour.

Based in Everett, WA, the Houseperson will help uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction while working with a dedicated team at Hollander Hospitality for a reputable brand partner.

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett is seeking a Houseperson to join our team. The Houseperson supports general hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• General cleaning principles, safe use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.

Skills and Ability to:

• Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform required cleaning duties.
• Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in order accurately receive and convey information.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance to meet hotel standards and represent the hotel positively.
• Manage one’s time in order to meet productivity standards.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.

Education and Experience:

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work:Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Position requires ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours and physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp and perform repetitive motions as required by job.
