Job summary

Kings Courtyard Inn in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly houseman to support housekeeping and guest services on weekend shifts. You will help during the evening wine hour and assist with keeping public areas and guest rooms tidy.

This role requires physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and climbing stairs, and a flexible weekend schedule. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have congenial personality and be dedicated to outstanding guest service.
• Able to bend, stoop and climb stairs.
• Must have flexible scheduling availability and must be available to work weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance during the evening wine hour.
• Assist with housekeeping set up including removing trash and linen from guestrooms.
• Assist with hotel upkeep including maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel kitchen and parking lot.
• Deliver the hotel linens to the laundry department and assist with delivery of clean linen to other Charming Inns properties.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 7pm

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record required
• Previous hotel experience preferred
