Job summary

Charming Inns of Charleston seeks a courteous hotel houseman to support Kings Courtyard Inn during evening hours, ensuring a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include assisting with the evening wine hour, housekeeping setup, keeping the kitchen and parking area clean, and delivering linens to laundry and other properties. Weekend availability is required and a high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have congenial personality and be dedicated to providing outstanding guest service.
• Able to bend, stoop and climb stairs.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling and weekend/holiday availability.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.

Hours required

Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 7pm

• Provide assistance during the evening wine hour.
• Assist with housekeeping set up including removing trash and linen from guestrooms.
• Assist with hotel upkeep including maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel kitchen and parking lot.
• Deliver the hotel linens to the laundry department and assist with delivery of clean linen to other Charming Inns properties.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
