Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada is seeking a dedicated Houseman for the day shift. You will support the housekeeping team and help ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our high cleanliness standards, performing physical tasks with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old with housekeeping experience; you must follow grooming standards and policies. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our Four Diamond resort.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Follow grooming standards; no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.

Responsibilities

• Transport clean and soiled linens, towels, and amenities to and from guest rooms and linen closets.
• Replenish guest room supplies as needed, including toiletries, paper products, and beverages.
• Remove trash and soiled items from guest rooms and public areas.
• Deliver guest requests, such as extra pillows, blankets, or amenities, in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist housekeepers with moving furniture, turning mattresses, or other heavy lifting tasks.
• Clean and maintain designated public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and stairwells.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in assigned areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to the appropriate department.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, storage areas, and work carts.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and requests professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by housekeeping management.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous Housekeeping experience It is expected the Houseman clean so that it meets the standards of cleanliness established at Atlantis. Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures. ***MUST adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors***
