Position Summary

The Houseman maintains cleanliness and sanitization of all inside and assigned outdoor public areas of the resort, interacting with guests to promote a positive impression. This role ensures a comfortable and clean environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and resort success.

Essential Functions
  • Performs daily assignments and projects as directed by the supervisor or management.
  • Paints and touch-ups interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, walkways, and guest room doors.
  • Picks up and disposes of litter daily throughout the property.
  • Cleans and sanitizes rooms upon request.
  • Maintains and waters potted plants on grounds and in pool areas.
  • Maintains trash receptacles and recycling bins inside and outside.
  • Cleans outdoor grills as needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness of offices, lobby, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
  • Cleans and sanitizes common area laundry rooms.
  • Ensures fitness center and bathrooms are stocked with towels and removes used towels.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Cleans carpets, upholstery, and window coverings in common and guest areas.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and woodwork in public areas.
  • Inspects for repairs and reports needs to supervisor.
  • Communicates cleaning needs regularly to supervisor.
  • Reports maintenance issues promptly.
  • Completes daily checklists for supervisor.
Other Functions
  • Performs additional duties to ensure cleanliness and smooth operations.
  • Participates in projects with other departments as needed.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
