Job Title: Houseperson

Do you have previous experience in the hospitality industry and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our guests? We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a houseperson at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. Our hotel is busy, and we need someone capable of performing a wide range of tasks to ensure our guests have an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

1. Keep hotel public areas clean, including hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies.
2. Support housekeeping by delivering items requested by guests such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding to guest rooms.
3. Complete any special projects assigned by housekeeping managers.
4. Retrieve clean linens from storage and distribute them to each floor.
5. Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other areas.
6. Deliver requested amenities to guest rooms.
7. Check floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, soiled linen, and other items as directed.
8. Respond quickly and attentively to visitors' needs to provide high-quality service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a housekeeper or houseperson preferred.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction with excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Hardworking with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation

$18 - $20 hourly
