Job summary

Aqua Green Hospitality Services is seeking a Houseman to support the housekeeping team, maintain public areas, and ensure the floor's linen supply and guest needs are met efficiently. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexibility in scheduling to meet hotel occupancy and guest expectations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager, be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and participate in both routine and special projects to deliver a seamless guest

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or cleaning experience preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and a "team player" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Linen & Supply Management: Stock Room Attendant carts with clean linens and guest supplies throughout the shift.
• Public Area Maintenance: Keep hallways, elevators, lobbies, and stairwells vacuumed, mopped, and dust-free.
• Guest Service: Promptly deliver requested items (pillows, towels, cribs) to guest rooms with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Waste Management: Regularly remove trash and dirty linens from floor closets and transport them to the designated laundry or disposal areas.
• Floor Care: Perform heavy cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing and floor buffering as assigned.
• Communication: Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager or Inspector to prioritize room needs and special projects.
• Safety: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.

About The Job

The Houseman is the backbone of the housekeeping department. This role is responsible for supporting Room Attendants, maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas, and ensuring that the logistical needs of the floor (linens, trash, and supplies) are handled efficiently to provide a seamless guest experience.
