Job Title: Housekeeping Worker I Full Time

Western State Hospital is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Worker to maintain a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, shower rooms, floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and fixtures daily; replenishing paper products; removing trash; and performing thorough weekly cleaning tasks. The role also involves checking rooms, wiping down furniture, dust mopping, wet mopping, and buffing floors as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, and floors, and operating housekeeping equipment
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various conditions

Additional Considerations:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in housekeeping
