Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker to maintain cleanliness across the on-site community, set up rooms for events, and assist with moving heavy objects. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency within a campus environment in Novi, Michigan.

You will operate cleaning equipment, manage trash removal, and assist residents with moving items, all while contributing to a welcoming living environment and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment.
• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred.
• Michigan chauffeur's license required, with up to 90 days to obtain if not held.
• Current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate; state regulations may apply.

In this role, you will maintain community cleanliness using specialized equipment, clean building areas, floors, and surfaces, set up rooms for events, handle trash removal, and assist with moving heavy objects—all while enjoying the convenience of staying on campus.

Compensation

Up to $17.50

How you will make an impact

• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxing

• Remove trash including refuse and recycling by following procedures utilizing compactors, trucks, and carts


• Move and arrange furniture in the community common spaces and offices, as well as in residential apartments


• Deliver residents items to and from storage, vehicles, apartments or other areas


• Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles in a safe manner

What you will need

• Current and valid driver’s license


• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community


• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred


• A Michigan chauffeur's license is required for this position. However, candidates who do not currently hold a chauffeur's license may still be considered and will have up to 90 days after hire to obtain one.


• Must have a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable. These regulations take precedence over the requirements outlined in the job description.
