Job summary

Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living, Novi, MI, is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker. You will maintain floors and surfaces, set up rooms for events, handle waste removal, and assist with moving items, all while living on campus.

We offer comprehensive benefits, an 18+ on-site medical center, 401k with company match, and dining discounts, with compensation up to $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment and trash removal equipment.
• Previous carpet care and floor finishing experience preferred.
• May require a CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• Must hold a current and valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces with scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces with extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.
• Clean doors, walls, and windows.
• Remove trash via proper procedures using compactors, trucks and carts.
• Move furniture in common spaces, offices, and residential apartments.
• Deliver residents’ items to storage, vehicles, or apartments.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and vehicles safely.
