Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit: Housekeeping Services is comprised of a staff of more than 400 employees who provide cleaning service and floor care to more than 40,000 campus customers in the maintenance and operation of the University’s 18 million plus square feet over 300 teaching, research, medical, administrative, residential, athletic and library buildings. Position Summary: The position functions as a trainer for Housekeeping Services including conducting new hire orientations, Operating System 1 (OS1) training and other training programs for cleaning, safety, ergonomics and other topics. Must have a valid NC Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid NC Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to start date.
