Job summary

Legacy Church is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain the facility’s cleanliness and safety standards. You will perform routine cleaning, monitor supplies, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

This role requires lifting up to 25 lbs, bending and walking for extended periods, and flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed. You will use cleaning equipment and machinery and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull.
• Stamina to stand/walk for long periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust and polish as required.
• Check stock levels and replace consumables.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
• Apply chemicals/solvents to remove stains and dirt.
• Follow safety policies for cleaning tasks.
• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Assist with furniture movement and other projects as needed.
• Return calls, emails and texts within 24 hours.
• Ensure rooms meet Legacy Church standards.
• Handle reasonable complaints professionally.
• Follow Legacy Church Handbook policies.
