• Completes checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each area.
• Identifies room assignments and cleaning requirements for each room.
• Inspects rooms after cleaning by Housekeeping staff.
• Manages room turnover and coordinates with other departments for timely service.
• Responds to guest requests promptly and documents room status.
• Oversees public spaces and supports housekeeping duties as needed.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $33.40Hourly Wage: $33.40

Valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, a typical day will include:

• Completes checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
• Identifies room assignments and types of cleaning required for each room.
• Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper.
• Identifies the turns and reports to the Manager order to which rooms will be cleaned and ready.
• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments .
• Enters status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets.
• Assists all aspects, within the Housekeeping discipline, up to but not limited to cleaning rooms/villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Team Leader at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
