Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Club at The Welk is seeking a Seasonal Housekeeping Team Leader in Escondido, CA. The role supports creating memorable guest experiences and oversees housekeeping tasks across rooms and public spaces. This position requires flexibility on shifts and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Typical duties include completing checklists, assigning cleaning tasks, inspecting rooms, and coordinating with the manager to ensure rooms are ready. Benefits include competitive pay and travel discounts.

Responsibilities

• Completes checklists to report cleanliness and condition of assigned areas.
• Identifies room assignments and types of cleaning required for each room.
• Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper.
• Identifies the turns and reports to the Manager order to which rooms will be cleaned and ready.
• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enters status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets.
• Assists all aspects, within the Housekeeping discipline, up to but not limited to cleaning rooms/villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning.

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, a typical day will include:

To Become a Housekeeping Team Leader at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
