Job summary

Resorts World Miami Hilton in Miami, FL seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee Room Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness and quality standards. You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff, manage inventories, and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance tasks.

The role requires strong English communication, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage performance and respond to guest requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Knowledge of inventories, scheduling and productivity.
• High school math level required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to inspect 25 to 80 rooms per day.
• Ability to clean rooms when needed.
• Physically able to move and operate large objects (maid carts, furniture, linen, vacuums).
• Ability to follow and enforce hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Open housekeeping: check rooms inventory, assign rooms to attendants.
• Inspect rooms and complete reports; verify status; load into property management systems.
• Supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons to meet cleanliness/quality standards.
• Report status and discrepancies of rooms.
• Monitor stock rooms, carts, and inventories.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations for maintenance of guest rooms/public areas.
• Perform duties of Room Attendant/Houseperson as needed.
• Assist in performance evaluations of staff.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide initial and ongoing training for all Room Attendants.
