ACCESS is seeking a Housekeeping Team Lead to manage day-to-day activities, coordinate with the Facilities Manager, and support custodial staff to keep ACCESS facilities clean and safe. The role involves relaying priorities, training staff, and ensuring high-quality work while reporting concerns promptly.

The position emphasizes hands-on custodial duties, safety adherence, and effective communication with multiple departments, with limited supervisory authority retained by the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• Certification: Must be licensed to drive in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in maintenance, grounds or custodial role or on-the-job training is acceptable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact between Facilities Manager and housekeeping staff.
• Relay daily assignments, cleaning priorities, and instructions.
• Train new housekeeping employees on procedures, equipment use, and ACCESS expectations.
• Review completed housekeeping work for quality and report concerns.
• Answer routine work-related questions and provide practical support.
• Communicate housekeeping concerns, staffing needs, and facility issues to Facilities Manager.
• Provide staff with reminders about procedures, schedules, and safety requirements.
