Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to support room attendants, move heavy items, and maintain clean, orderly public and staff areas. You will respond to guest requests promptly and help ensure high guest satisfaction.

The role involves lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and possibly working nights or weekends. English speaking ability is preferred.

Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens; deliver linens and supplies to room attendants.
Remove dirty linen from carts and transport to laundry.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; wipe shelves, sweep and wax floors, store items properly.
Respond to guests' requests for housekeeping supplies in a timely manner.
Clean designated areas including restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and public spaces on assigned floors.
Report to supervisor any needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Respond to guest complaints and take corrective action to achieve guest satisfaction.
Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste across housekeeping areas.
Promote teamwork and effective communication with other departments.
May collect newspaper and other items for recycling; may assist with deep cleaning.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
