Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping/Room Attendant Helper to assist room attendants, deliver linens, and help keep floors and public areas clean. You may lift heavy linens and assist with laundry and deep cleaning tasks as needed.

The role requires basic literacy, some housekeeping experience, and the ability to speak English. You may be asked to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, and moving around the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants on floors and deliver linens to carts.
• Remove dirty linen and transport to laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guests' requests for housekeeping supplies in a timely manner.
• May assist with deep cleaning and other duties as assigned.
