Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a housekeeping support associate to assist room attendants on assigned floors, transport linens to laundry, and deliver fresh linen to carts throughout the day. You may help strip linens and clean public areas, while delivering items requested by guests and staff.

Responsibilities include handling heavy items, maintaining floor closets, responding to guest requests, and promoting teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with heavy items and linen deliveries.
• Remove dirty linen from carts and transport to laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guest requests for housekeeping supplies promptly.
• Clean designated public areas and restrooms on assigned floors.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Address guest complaints and take corrective action.
• Monitor supplies to minimize waste in all areas.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
• May collect newspapers and recycling items.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
