Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hotel housekeeping attendant to assist room attendants on assigned floors, collect dirty linens, and deliver fresh linens to carts throughout the day in Houston. May assist with stripping linens and cleaning public areas as needed.

The role offers an hourly wage of $18 in Houston, TX, with room discounts, training, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO and 401k. Night/weekend shifts may be required to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants on assigned floors; collect dirty linens and transport to laundry areas.
• Deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts throughout the day.
• Assist with stripping linens from rooms and cleaning public areas as needed.
• Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and housekeeping staff.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with departments.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve guest satisfaction.
