Job summary

ASH Hotels is seeking a Houseperson to provide essential support to our housekeeping team on-site at Venice Beach, CA. You will handle heavy lifting, deep cleaning, and logistics to keep guest floors and linen storage running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and takes pride in supporting the team to ensure smooth operations across the hotel. Responsibilities include stocking carts, assisting with room turns, and prompt guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, custodial, or general labor preferred.
• Able to lift and move heavy loads safely.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Transport clean and soiled linens between guest floors, laundry, and storage areas.
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply rooms to par levels.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting and deep cleaning projects.
• Deliver guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Interact professionally with guests on guest floors.
