Job summary

Ash Hotels is opening a new property on the Venice Beach boardwalk in California. We are seeking a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms, restock amenities, and ensure high cleanliness standards for every guest stay.

You will follow detailed checklists, use cleaning equipment safely, and report maintenance needs promptly. The role requires physical stamina and a guest-friendly demeanor as you work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and brand standards consistently.
• Physical stamina for a fast-paced role involving bending and lifting.
• Willingness to be trained on cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to brand standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms).
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies to PAR levels (mini bar items).</li>
• Inspect rooms for damage or maintenance needs and report findings promptly.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow SDS instructions.
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply closets.
• Respond to guest requests for extra amenities with professionalism.
• Follow proper protocols for lost and found items and guest interactions.
