Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a Housekeeping & Support Lead I to manage day-to-day housekeeping and laundry operations across facilities. The role requires independent work, supervision of staff, and adherence to safety and environmental policies.

You'll train new staff, perform cleaning duties, handle supplies, and coordinate room assignments for crews. Full-time role with cross-shift coverage and travel to multiple sites; housing may apply with conditions.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in housekeeping or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and safety protocols.
• Forklift certification required to move supplies.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new housekeeping staff.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties and cleaning tasks.
• Launder employee clothing and work attire.
• Replenish supplies and replace bulbs.
• Clean storage rooms, bathrooms, offices and corridors.
• Handle waste disposal and empty bins.
• Sweep, mop and maintain floors; polish as needed.
• Notify leads of equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in preparing housing facilities for crews and inspect bunkhouse rooms.
• In some locations, cover for Housekeeping Foreperson as needed.
