Job summary

Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown seeks a dependable Housekeeping Support Attendant to assist Room Attendants and manage linen supplies. You will help keep guest rooms clean and well-stocked, supporting a smooth, guest-ready experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and strong guest service skills in a fast-paced hotel environment. Full-time with benefits, located in New Orleans, LA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a Hilton-branded hotel or hotel environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized hotel.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be available to work 7:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods.
• English communication skills required; reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping operations and guest room needs.
• Deliver clean linen, towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
• Receive, organize, and distribute linen supplies throughout the hotel.
• Restock floor pantries and Room Attendant closets with clean linen and supplies.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Sort and organize soiled and clean linen according to hotel procedures.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with guest room cleaning when necessary.
• Ensure housekeeping areas, supply rooms, and equipment are clean and organized.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Complete additional housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Follow all hotel, housekeeping, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of the TEAM.
