Job summary

Excel Hotel Group seeks a housekeeping supervisor for Tempo by Hilton Del Mar to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring quality standards and optimum service for guests. You will support the General Manager in daily supervision and team leadership at a premier West Coast launch.

The role requires 1–2 years in housekeeping with at least 1 year in supervision, physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to train and guide staff to maintain guest

Qualifications

• 1-2 housekeeping or janitorial experience required.
• 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Train employees and ensure tools and equipment are available.
• Monitor performance and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Inspect rooms/suites and public areas for cleanliness and repairs.
• Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on correct procedures.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Notify management when supplies and equipment par levels are insufficient.
