Job summary

Tempo by Hilton Del Mar is seeking a dedicated supervisor to assist the General Manager in overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the highest quality standards and optimum service for hotel guests. This opening role supports a brand-new property on the West Coast.

In this role you will supervise staff, coordinate room cleaning schedules, and uphold the hotel's service objectives while fostering a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room cleaning assignments to ensure coverage.
• Train employees and provide tools and equipment for duties.
• Monitor performance and address disciplinary actions when needed.
• Inspect rooms/suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Inform staff of deficiencies and provide instructions.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action.
